We are on at 9pm with the full complement of Gangadeen, Friend, Richmond and Fuller plus a couple of guests. Tickets are only 8 quid.
Beyond The Loop
The 3 events I have curated for the opening of King's Place have now sold out. Apologies to those of you who didn't manage to get tickets. There are still tickets available for the CD launch at the 100 club on the 24th September.

Music Beyond The Mainstream Tour

This tour is over a year in the making and is a unique collaboration between electro improvisation pioneers the Bays, The Heritage orchestra, me and Toni award-winning composer Simon Hale. The concept is simple but terrifying. Walk on stage, start composing from scratch using Sibelius software and take it from there. No safety net. No pre-composed ideas or templates just a blank score. All the orchestral musicians play from monitors linked to the composers' computers. Jules Buckley, the Heritage Orchestra's conductor, working from the ever-developing on-screen scores, brings in the musicians as he sees fit. The Bays respond. The composers respond to the Bays and Jules. And so on. Suddenly you realise you are in the middle of a never to be repeated aural experience which could move in any direction at any time. Scarey but unbelievably exhilarating for both audience and musicians.
The John Metcalfe Band will open the show with a thirty-minute set.
An unmissable evening.
